Blackburn Northern men won their first National League match of the season with a 4 - 2 win over Wrexham Tennis Academy. After going in at 2 - 2 after 4 the singles match the Northern players doubles experience paid dividends with both pairs winning in straight sets.

This season the team is playing in National Premier Division 1 with the top teams going through to a play off with teams from the south.

The next match is on Sunday 26th April at home against Nuffield Tennis Academy from Hull. Start  time is 12 noon. All spectators welcome.
