International Win for George

George has had a great summer reaching consecutive finals in under 14 European Tour Events. He had an excellent win at Queenswood in London beating German, American, Australian and British boys on the way to the title. He followed this by reaching another final three weeks later at Sheffield.

The European Tour is now moving to Spain and George is hoping to emulate his success in England at events in Barcelona and Benidorm.

George will have to manage the transition from grass to clay having recent finished competing at the Road to Wimbledon National Finals at the All England Club where he had a successful week winning three out of four singles matches.

When at home George continues to play in the local leagues for the Blackburn Northern senior teams.

George is the son of Blackburn Northern tennis coach Jamie Hutchings.
