George Hutchings is following in the footsteps of Andy Murray by representing Great Britain in a junior international fixture. The under 14 match against France was played at the National Tennis Centre in Roehampton with GB winning 7 rubbers to 3. George played as the British number one and defeated the French number one along the way.

George is the son of club coach Jamie Hutchings and regularly represents the club in the senior teams.

George is ranked number one in Lancashire in his age group and is hoping to play in the world's top under 14 tournament in Tarbes, France at the beginning of next year.
