Ladies' 65's Tennis Team Progresses

Blackburn Northern Ladies 65’s Tennis Team

Many congratulations to Blackburn Northern Ladies Tennis team who successfully defeated the Hallamshire Club, Sheffield, (3-1) in the quarter-finals of the National Inter- Club  Knockout  Competition.

It was a tightly fought contest, played in Sheffield on the 1st September.

The team was: Roberta Holtby, Aileen Hext, Linda Huntingdon and Dorothy Barrett.

”Well Done Ladies”

In the semi- finals the Club has been drawn at home against the “45 Club”, who are based in London. 

The match is going to be on October 28th, indoors, at the Club.
