Lancashire Champions

Blackburn Northern first mens teams had a comfortable 5 - 1 win over St Annes Tennis Club in the final of the County Cup. The team selected for the final were club coach Jamie Hutchings with his two sons, Charlie and George, along with Dean Moore, Ben Crichton and Josh Pye.

The team has already retained the East Lancashire League and with just one match left to play not a single rubber has been dropped during the 2015 season. There is also the chance of the treble in the East Lancashire team knockout in the final on 19th September.

The Northern ladies team have also reached the final of the Liebert Rosebowl and it's the first time both mens and ladies have reached county cup finals in the same year. The match is at Holcombe Brook later this - details to follow later.
