Blackburn Northern first mens team retained the premier Lancashire County Cup competition (Roscoe) with a 5 - 2 win over Holcombe Brook. The East lancashire League 2016 season has finished with more sucess for club teams:-

• Northern A are first divsion champions in the Open League for an incredible 19th year in succession.
• Northern B are divsion two champions in the Open League
• Northern E were runners up in Open divsion 4 and are promoted.
• Northern ladies A are promoted from Division 2 of the ladies league.
• The under 16 team won the junior league.

There were also much individual success by club members at the County Championships in August. More news to follow later.
