It was another excellent season for Blackburn Northern teams. The club first team completed a league and cup double in the Open division one. Both Northern B and Northern C finished in a respectable mid table position in divisions one and two respectively.

Pride of place, however, should go to Northern D who gained promotion from division three on the very last day of the season. Lots of players contributed to the team's success - none more so than club stalwart Philip Mawson who proudly declared a 94% win rate for the season.
