BNSC "Boys" Hit the Heights at Wimbledon

Blackburn Northern boys at the All England Club - Saturday 5th April

Every year the All England Club invite a county to play them in a match at Wimbledon, and this year it was Lancashire.

BNSC can feel very proud as three out of the four players in the Lancashire team were home-grown club players:  Charlie Hutchings, George Hutchings and Alex Moore.

The match was played on clay courts:  Charlie and George won both their doubles matches - winning the match tie break in each case!    Quality tennis as the opposition was good ,as you can imagine.   Alex and his partner only played one match as one of the opposition suffered an injury and was unable to continue.

Lancashire won the match 3-1.

A tremendous experience for all of them.
