Liebert Trophy Success - Again!!

Blackburn Northern Ladies Liebert Cup Success

The team, comprising Rachel Hyland, Hayley Warrington, Lisa Jackson and Esther Kitchen beat Markland Hill in the final. The tennis was of a very high standard and thoroughly enjoyed by all the spectators.

Mention must also be made of Sue Lawson and Vicky Fallon who were also part of the squad.

The trophy was presented by Chris Baron, on behalf of Lancashire LTA.  As she said afterwards :     

"Many congrats on not just your win, but the manner of which the game was played. Great sportsmanship,  super tennis, warm hospitality, and a very happy afternoon all round.
You should all be proud". 

This means that this year Blackburn Northern won both Lancashire inter-club knockout competitions  -  an excellent performance from all those involved.
