Lancashire Ladies 60s team stays in Division 1 of the LTA Seniors County Cup 

The Lancashire Ladies 60s team, based at Blackburn Northern, Club finished the summer season this week with a resounding 5-0 home win against Cambridgeshire. 

This win, together with strong performances against Hereford & Worcester, Middlesex, Hampshire & Isle of Wight and Norfolk, has secured the team’s position in Division 1 of the LTA Seniors County Cup for another year.

Many of the matches were so close that they had to be decided by playing seven and / or ten point tiebreaks. The team won some and lost some and definitely experienced both the highs and lows of competitive tennis. 

Pictured below are members of the team that travelled 660 miles in one trip to play Norfolk at David Lloyd Norwich, followed by Middlesex at Chandos LTC in North London.
